Weekly Share - May 11, 2018 Edition

How are you feeling this Friday morning? I always find that the month of May moves quickly. Do you? I am not going to lie to you all. I am feeling a bit haggard. At yoga today, I could barely hold my tree. Dear! I just wanted a cozy blanket and a one way ticket to Shavasana. Thank you very much!  I am working hard to complete my coach certification training by the end of May.  How are your days feeling? I am sure your lives are feeling full too. Well...you might notice that most of my shares this week are delightful companions to a study session!

Just not this one...

For Your Reading Pleasure

I just finished up East of Eden, an old favorite of mine. John Steinbeck does not disappoint in this novel. What a riveting story--quite relentless at times but completely addictive.

And now, I am onto these fine reads.

Cozying up with a book lights me up inside. What are some books you have been enjoying lately?

For Your Added Pleasure

I have had some serious study sessions this week. Do you know the perfect complement to some serious "sit" work?

A nice mug of something delicious! And wow! Just look at this beauty of a liquid holder. Sterling Brown makes the most exquisite pottery pieces. I just love filling my new mugs with some hot tea or lately-- an iced caffe latte! I have missed my iced coffee life of warmer months past. The sweetness. The creaminess. The chill. It has added some much-needed pleasure to the more focused hours of my days. So necessary!

For Your Body

I do love to smell good! Always have. Now, I do sometimes worry about the toxicity of smelling good --so I try to add some natural options into my mix. I have found GLORIOUSNESS, people. Have you heard of GIVESCENT? The fragrances smell divine. They are all natural. And when you buy a bottle, the money helps women worldwide. Bam! I am wearing this currently--and just loving myself.

A Quote for Your Soul

That place of true healing is a fierce place. It's a giant place. It's a place of monstrous beauty and endless dark and glimmering light. And you have to work really, really, really, really hard to get there, but you can do it.

Cheryl Strayed in Brave Enough

Please know I am wishing you all a bit of gentleness in your journeys. And some simple times to connect with yourself and those you love. Please share any simple pleasures down below. I really do love to hear what is working for you all! Books. Music. Movies. Food. You name it!
